Lightning Protection Core VC Series                                   

 

The product is the lightning protection module specially used in the security protection camera. It protects the total electric power source input, signal output and the fuselage cover of he camera. Its circuit adopts 3 levels of series protection mode: firstly, within 50us, it maximizes the release of 10KV/5KA momentary surge; secondly, within 1ns, the residual pressure will be clamping to less than 200V; thirdly, within 1ns, the residual pressure will further be clamping to within 50V. 3 levels of series protection circuit is currently the safest lightning protection mode. The maximum working current of the power source input port connector could reach 2A, voltage drop less than 1V, surge clamping velocity within 1ps.

Installation and notes:   

                                                             

The reliable connectivity of the lightning protection core to the ground wire and the screw hole of the camera outer casing will provide a good current discharge passage. The usage of the product only limit to indoor, waterproof outdoor casing or places without direct damping. Dampproof must be taken note of during the installlation.

 

The product requires no particular maintenance. When the working system encounters the suspected fault of the lightning protection core, the lightning protection core should be dismantled for inspection. If the system reinstates to normal at the state of restoring to the original state of without protection core, it means that the lightning protection core is damaged. It must be immediately replaced or contacting our Company.
